How to use Essential oils support your hair care routine

There are many essential oils to support hair and you can make your own hair care products at home.  Your hair is effected greatly by your nutritional status. When you are eating well getting proper nutrients and hydration your hair should be fuller and shiny. There are many things that can lead to hair irregularities including chemicals in many hair and skin products, chlorine in our water and many other things. Hair that is dry can look dull and may easily split at the ends, while oily hair can look greasy due to overproducing sweat glands.
You can add essential oils to natural shampoos and conditioners as well depending on your hair type and what support you want to provide. Be sure you are using a natural, chemically free shampoo and conditioner without the parabens and sodium laurel sulfate which is damaging to not just your hair but can disrupt many things within your body. There are many essential oils that may help support the varying hair types. For dry, normal and oily hair Lavender & Rosemary essential oils can be nourishing. Geranium essential oil can help support normal and dry hair. Cedarwood is supportive for normal and also thinning hair due to normal age related changes. Lemon, Peppermint, and Cypress essential oil are also supportive for hair that tends to be more oily.
